Our Namibian story started when Richard Otto Eduard Haase leased farm Wilhelmstal Nord in 1911 to take over the horse stud. He then bought the farm in 1914 and married his wife, Lidy. Richard Haase Junior took over the family business with his wife Maria in 1965 and transformed it completely into a hunting and cattle farm. Maria and Richard registered Wilhelmstal Nord as one of the first hunting farms in Namibia and the rest is Namibian hunting history. With much love, energy and hard work their son Rolf Haase and his wife Vera transformed the farm into what it is today. With Olaf and Carina Haase joining full-time in 2022, the fourth generation of Haases has been integrated into the enterprise. Rolf and Vera’s daughter Katja works in tourism but continues to contribute to the family venture and helps where and whenever she can. Even the youngest family member, Arik, already has his duties on the farm. We are sure that you will have an wonderful time with us in Namibia and look forward to welcoming you into our family.
